Saikou Making The Cut Once Again!
We’re back with some new ideas to deconstruct and get a fresh look from our range. Feedback from our first ‘how to’ went well so we’re back with part two of skate park inspired takes on classic garments.
We’re sticking to the black look and giving our signature hoodie the make over it’s been screaming out for. A cropped hoodie is incredibly on trend right now and very stylish option with a street edge.
What you will need:
- Saikou Hoodie
- Scissors
- Chalk
- Measuring tape
- Ruler
Step 1:
Lay your hoodie flat on a large surface. Using a tape measure, measure a few centimetres down from the underarms to your desired length. Mark with chalk.
Step 2:
Join the chalk marks using a ruler.
Step 3:
Cut on the chalk lines.
Bonus Steps
If you’re after a neater finish, you will need to create a hem using a sewing machine.
Step 4:
Fold 1cm around the hem and fold 1cm again to create a double fold hem. Pin the folded hem.
Step 5:
Sew 1cm hem and you’re done!
